XG‘s documentary “XTRA XTRA” EP XX, which was released last April 11, features XG’s producer JAKOPS (DMTN’s Simon), who revealed that he had been working tirelessly for five years to discover, nurture, plan, manage, and produce the girl group, which began with the establishment of the global entertainment production company XGALX. The group also shared their aspiration to create a girl group that stands out from traditional K-Pop or J-Pop.
On the other hand, the most recently released episode X1 provides a glimpse into the trainee days of the group’s members. The documentary starts by introducing each member’s unique background, including Jurin, who was a professional snowboarder, and Harvey, who was a model. Through their personal accounts, the members reveal their motivations for joining the XGALX project and pursuing their dreams of becoming artists.
The dedicated studio of XGALX welcomed 21 trainees in June 2018, with the documentary capturing the girls’ excitement to embark on a new journey towards their dreams. As the training begins, the girls face the reality of the grueling path ahead. Their producer Simon treats them with respect as adults and pushes them to their limits, sometimes with tough love and harsh words. The documentary provides a behind-the-scenes look at the intense training that these trainees must undergo to become successful artists. The start of the XG members’ journey as trainees at XGALX, where they embark on the path towards achieving their dreams, was captured into the documenatary, offering a fascinating insight into the group’s early beginnings and is a must-watch for fans and viewers alike.
At the end of the episode X1, a sneak peek of the Korean training camp is revealed, teasing the viewers about what to expect in the next episode. The episode concludes with Simon announcing that the team which secures the third spot will be eliminated.
