XG's "NEW DNA" Mini Album Climbs Charts In Japan And Globally

Hip-hop/R&B-inspired girl group XG has been making waves with their 1st mini album, “NEW DNA,” which was released last September 27th. The album has achieved remarkable success, marking a significant milestone in their career.

The album’s global impact is undeniable, as it has ranked on the Apple Music Album Chart in 57 countries and regions, even reaching as high as 2nd place on the Apple Music Album Chart (Worldwide). It has also charted on the iTunes Album Chart in 18 countries and regions, achieving the highest position on the “Worldwide iTunes Album Chart.”

The music video for the lead track, ‘PUPPET SHOW’, released on YouTube, has garnered attention by entering the YouTube Trending Charts in 18 countries and regions, solidifying XG’s global reach.

XG’s “NEW DNA” mini-album features infectious tracks like ‘GRL GVNG’, which made history as the first-ever #1 ranking for a Japanese artist in the U.S. Billboard Chart “Hot Trending Songs Powered by X.” The album also includes viral hits like ‘TGIF’, ‘NEW DANCE’, and ‘PUPPET SHOW’.
