One of the most looked forward to survival show in 2021, Mnet "KINGDOM: LEGENDARY WAR" has ended recently.
Some K-Pop fans might ask, so what other audition programs can they expect in the future?
For long time K-Pop fans, some might have noticed that Mnet had started a frenzy of audition and K-Pop idol survival programs around 2016. The famous "Produce" series which gave birth to , , and .
Other audition programs by Mnet also included "Boys24" and "Idol School".
After which, other broadcasting channels such as KBS had also come up with "The Unit" that give already debuted idols who did not find fame a second chance. and were given a chance to promote and show off their talents once again.
And then there was also "Under Nineteen" from MBC that debuted and so on.
Soon enough, some viewers might notice that these shows are getting repetitive since the concept is somewhat similar.
Perhaps this was when Mnet looked at a different angle and came up with "Queendom," "Road To Kingdom" and "KINGDOM: LEGENDARY WAR". They had existing and active K-Pop groups come together and undergo friendly competition for the throne.
