Inside, you can see various Nongshim packet ramens and ramen cookers.

The recommended ramens include Shin Ramen, Neoguri, Soon Ramyun Anseongtangmyeon, Sarigomtangmyeon, Potato Ramen, and Shin Ramen Black. Since the store mainly targets foreigners, it seems like they recommend milder ramens.

The price of the main ramens is 5,000 KRW, and some products including Dongji Naengmyeon and Saengsaeng Udon can be enjoyed for 7,000 KRW. (Toppings for ramen are free.)

Since I came to Neoguri’s Ramen Shop, I chose Neoguri Ramen. The price is 5,000 KRW.

After selecting the ramen and giving it to the staff, they will tear open the ramen, put the noodles and soup powder in a container, and set it up for cooking.

They also guide you to choose the toppings you want for free. There are 7 kinds of toppings: bean sprouts, onions, fish cakes, rice cakes, green onions, cabbage, and raw egg. I decided to include a little bit of each.

After receiving the number ticket and looking around the store.

I found that the store was quite spacious and had many tables. Since it was a weekday lunch, there were many empty seats, so I could enjoy the ramen comfortably.

After that, I saw the employee making instant noodle. Oh my god. The staff makes it by beating all the eggs. I regretted adding eggs for no reason.

If you do not eat beaten eggs, I recommend avoiding adding eggs.

After finishing the cooking, I received the ramen and returned to my seat. Neoguri Ramen with beaten egg is certainly a bit less appealing.

The taste was good even if not particularly special.

I thought the store might be more special for foreigners than for Koreans.

While eating, I noticed some foreigners enjoying their ramen with beer. They were selling small cans of Terra beer for 3,000 KRW, but I found it a bit expensive, so I gave up. If it had been a 500ml large can, I might have bought it.

Still, it was a fun store where I could enjoy delicious ramen and have a good time looking around.

If you want to enjoy ramen easily in Myeongdong or if you’re interested in visiting a Nongshim ramen popup store made for foreigners, I recommend you visit at least once.

Thank you for reading till the end today. I will continue to introduce many delicious ramen stories in the future 😀
