Their recently released mini 7th album, ‘The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY’, has secured the top position on Japan’s Oricon ‘Daily Album Ranking’ for two consecutive days, once again proving their immense popularity. In just two days, the album sold 277,587 copies in Japan, surpassing the first-week sales of their previous mini 6th album, ‘minisode 3: TOMORROW’.
Notably, the sales of this album have grown approximately 60% compared to its predecessor, highlighting TXT’s expanding influence in Japan. They hold the record for the most consecutive No. 1 albums by a foreign artist on Japan’s Oricon Weekly Album Chart, and this album is expected to continue that record.
The title track ‘Over The Moon’ is also gaining attention as it rapidly climbs the Japanese music charts. Within an hour of its release, it entered the Line Music real-time song chart and reached No. 1 by 8 PM on the 6th. It also jumped 79 spots to rank 74th on Japan’s Spotify ‘Daily Top Song’ chart. The mini 7th album topped the ‘Top Album’ charts on both Japan’s Apple Music and iTunes, showcasing its strong presence.
In domestic charts, TXT continues to shine. Their new release topped the daily album chart on Hanteo Chart on its release day and achieved ‘first-week million-seller’ status for five consecutive albums. The title track ‘Over The Moon’ is also gaining popularity, reaching the ‘Top 3’ on the Bugs real-time chart.
Meanwhile, TXT is operating a pop-up store at The Hyundai Seoul to commemorate the release of their new album. The pop-up will run until the 13th, offering various attractions that captivate fans. TXT’s future activities are anticipated to continue their impressive momentum.
