TXT has once again demonstrated their powerful fandom and musical prowess. Their mini 7th album, ‘The Chapter of Star: SANCTUARY,’ recently topped both the album and retail album categories on the latest weekly Circle Chart, achieving a double crown. This album achieved remarkable results during the 45th week of 2024 (from November 3 to 9). Notably, the Weverse version ranked 2nd and 9th on the two charts, respectively, securing positions within the top 10.
The title track ‘Over The Moon’ from ‘The Chapter of Star: SANCTUARY’ entered eight charts, ranking 2nd on the download chart, 3rd on the BGM chart, and 4th on the V Coloring chart. All tracks from this mini album have gained attention by entering the rankings in the download, BGM, and global K-pop charts.
The album sold approximately 1.58 million copies in its first week of release, setting a record as a ‘first-week million-seller’ for the fifth consecutive time. Additionally, in Japan, it achieved a triple crown on both the Oricon and Billboard Japan weekly charts. Particularly on Oricon, 11 consecutive albums have topped the ‘Weekly Album Ranking,’ setting the most records as a foreign artist.
TXT began collecting music show trophies with ‘Over The Moon’ by winning on the MBC M, MBC every1’s ‘Show! Champion’ broadcast on the 13th. They are scheduled to appear on KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’ on the 15th, MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 16th, and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ on the 17th, continuing their engagements with fans. Expectations are high for what new records this activity will set in the future.
