TWICE’s JiHyo Drops English Version Of Her Solo Track ‘Killin’ Me Good’

TWICE’s JiHyo has delighted fans by releasing the English version of her hit single ‘Killin’ Me Good’ last September 15. The track is now available on all major digital and streaming platforms, via JYP Entertainment/Imperial/Republic Records.

‘Killin’ Me Good’ originally served as the title track of JIHYO’s EP “ZONE,” marking her first solo endeavor since her debut with TWICE back in October 2015. The EP made quite an impact, debuting at No. 14 on the Billboard 200 chart. JiHyo also secured her spot on the Billboard Artist 100 chart, claiming the No. 10 position. Notably, she becomes only the second female K-Pop solo artist to achieve this feat, following in the footsteps of her TWICE teammate, NaYeon, who accomplished the same in 2022 with her release “IM NAYEON.”

This exciting solo release comes hot on the heels of TWICE’s spectacular year. The group began 2023 with a memorable performance of their Billboard Hot 100 single ‘Moonlight Sunrise’ at the “Billboard Women in Music Awards,” where they received the prestigious Breakthrough Award. Subsequently, TWICE celebrated the release of their 12th mini album, “READY TO BE,” in New York, which included a special lighting ceremony of the Empire State Building in partnership with Musicians On Call. They also graced “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” with a performance of the title track ‘SET ME FREE’. Rolling Stone praised “READY TO BE” as “brash and compelling,” and the mini album made an impressive debut at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Notably, it marked the largest pure sales week for an album by a female K-Pop act in the U.S. TWICE further solidified their status with a third No. 1 placement on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, holding the record for the most top 10 debuts on the chart among all K-Pop female acts, now totaling four.
