CJ ENM recently made an announcement that its TVING original series “Bargain” has garnered widespread acclaim at the “Cannes International Series Festival” (or “Canneseries”), held on April 16. During the screening event at the Lumiรจre Auditorium, the show was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience. They were treated to an 1 hour 11 minute-long version of the first two episodes, which were seamlessly combined.
This year’s “Canneseries” has invited “Bargain” and “Island,” both TVING Originals, to participate in the festival. “Bargain” has the distinction of being the first-ever Korean OTT original to be included in the festival’s Official Selection to compete with other entries.
