‘Pyramid Game’ is a psychological thriller depicting a cruel survival hierarchy war where students of class 2-5 at Baekyeon High School pick a scapegoat through secret voting once a month, gradually getting immersed in violence as perpetrators and victims. Based on a popular Naver webtoon, this series was especially significant for Shin SeulKi. “It was my first project, so I approached it with all my heart,” she said, expressing honor in collaborating with the director and staff over a six-month filming period.
Notably, ‘Pyramid Game’ featured many new actors, including Jang DaA, fostering a sense of camaraderie as if they were all in the same boat. Shin SeulKi stated that she and her fellow actors dedicated themselves to their roles. Jang DaA played the role of the ultimate villain, Baek HaRin, and the two found out about their shared alma mater during a meal after a script reading.
