Stray Kids’ Felix, who appeared on MBC’s “Radio Star,” is garnering attention for his global ambassador connections and his surprising contrasting charms.
Tonight, Wednesday, the 17th at 10:30 PM (Korean time), MBC’s “Radio Star” (planned by Kang YoungSun / directed by Kim MyungYeob, Hwang YoonSang) will air a special episode titled “Man with Style,” featuring JunJin, HwanHee, GREE, and Felix. Felix, a member of the 4th generation idol group Stray Kids under JYP Entertainment, showcases his contrasting charms with a Snow White-like appearance and a deep, cave-like voice.
From the beginning of the show, Felix captivated the audience with his mosquito sound impression and displayed his meticulous charm by gifting homemade cookies. His deep voice, acknowledged by the “original cave voice” HwanHee, became a hot topic when Felix revealed Stray Kids’ stage performance that went viral on social media for “that part.” HwanHee commented, “There aren’t many pretty boys with deep voices,” sparking curiosity about the lineage of deep voices in the entertainment industry.
Felix’s real name also drew attention. He shared, “My Korean name is Lee YongBok, given by my grandfather. My mother wanted a trendier name, but since it wasn’t, she cried for six months,” revealing an amusing anecdote. He also shared a story about how his real name was discovered by his members during his trainee days.
Furthermore, Felix, who drew global attention with his styling inspired by comic book characters, received praise from Kim Gura, who said, “Your freckles are charming.”
Felix’s global connections were also highlighted. He received a thank-you message and a “Deadpool” mask from Ryan Reynolds after performing on a survival program with a “Deadpool” concept. He also mentioned his playful relationship with Chris Hemsworth, the star of “Thor,” and shared an episode where he met LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault at a luxury show in Barcelona and was invited to an after-dinner party. Felix expressed his amazement, saying, “I was touched to have dinner on a private cruise.”
Felix’s character also stood out. He donated 100 million won to UNICEF and became the youngest member of the Honors Club. He revealed that after seven years of activity with Stray Kids, he received a three-week vacation earlier this year and went to Laos for volunteer work.
Felix’s activities, with a voice like a tough guy and the visuals and character of an angel, can be seen on “Radio Star,” airing tonight at 10:30 PM. “Radio Star” is a unique talk show loved by many for its MCs’ sharp wit and ability to draw out the true stories of its guests.
