Stray Kids Celebrate STAY’s 4th Anniversary With Surprise Release ‘Mixtape: Time Out’

Last August 1, Stray Kids have released a surprise new digital single ‘Mixtape: Time Out’ in celebration of their fandom STAY’s birthday, the day when the fandom name STAY was decided. Written and composed by the team’s producing group 3RACHA (members Bang Chan, ChangBin, Han), this is the 4th release from the “Mixtape Project”.

Happy birthday to our STAY who have always provided us with great happiness and purpose!

‘Mixtape: Time Out’ is a song that the Stray Kids members created while reminiscing about their group trip to Gangwon-do. The track contains the message “throw away all of your complicated thoughts and worries, let’s leave this place and have a great time.”

The new single is part of the Stray Kids’ “Mixtape Project”, which has been continuing since 2019. Stray Kids’ “Mixtape Project” lets members express in their own unique way the stories of those who have lost direction. The new track is the 4th in line – following ‘Mixtape : Gone Days’ released in December 2019, ‘Mixtape : On Track’ released in March 2020, and ‘Mixtape : OH’ released in June 2021.

Stray Kids have recently been travelling the globe performing for fans on their 2nd World Tour, which started off with three dates in Seoul from April 29th-May 1st and headed to nine cities and nineteen shows throughout Japan and the United States.

Last week, Stray Kids received a nomination for Best K-Pop at the upcoming “2022 MTV Video Music Awards”.
