Stray Kids have released their new full-length album ‘GIANT’ in Japan, enjoying overwhelming popularity. Released on November 13, this album is their first work in approximately 1 year and 9 months since ‘THE SOUND’ and has topped the Oricon charts immediately upon release, receiving a hot response.
‘GIANT’ includes a variety of new tracks along with the title track. A total of 10 songs are included, such as ‘NIGHT’, the theme song for the TV animation ‘Tower of God 2nd Season: Workshop Battle’, and an original Japanese Christmas song ‘Christmas Love’. Notably, the members of the in-group producing team 3RACHA participated in the work, encapsulating Stray Kids’ unique intense charm.
To commemorate the release of this album, Stray Kids are conducting various promotional activities in Japan. These include the launch of canned beverages in collaboration with Suntory, an exhibition at Osaka’s Hep Five, and voice content inside the Shinkansen in partnership with Japan Railway JR Tokai, offering diverse events for fans. Additionally, at Tokyo Dome City, a Ferris wheel and illumination tree event decorated with member visuals are being held, while pop-up stores and campaigns are taking place at Shibuya Tsutaya and convenience store NewDays.
Since their debut in Japan, Stray Kids have secured their position as a 4th generation K-pop boy group by topping major charts such as Oricon, Tower Records, and Billboard Japan. Recently, they successfully led the ‘5-STAR Dome Tour 2023′, holding performances at Japan’s four major dome venues, garnering great responses from fans.
Going forward, Stray Kids plan to meet fans in various regions through their world tour, including Manila in the Philippines, Macau, and Osaka in Japan.
