As the second installment of Wavve’s pride, the ‘New Classic Project’, the masterpiece drama “I’m Sorry, I Love You” is being revived 20 years later. On November 22nd, Wavve will present this touching story in a new format.
The drama, which made a significant impact when it aired in 2004, tells the story of MooHyuk (played by So JiSub), an adopted child in Australia diagnosed with a terminal illness, and his fateful love for EunChae (played by Lim SooJung). This project unveils a poster and teaser video reimagined for 2024 while maintaining the original sentiment. Particularly, the message “A record of a love that I want to remember forever” is capturing the hearts of fans once again.
The teaser video revives the emotion of 2004, with an OST featuring Park HyoShin’s ‘Snow Flower’ remade by NCT DoYoung, amplifying the tragic love emotion. Director Lee HyungMin and the main production team have participated, condensing MooHyuk and EunChae’s narrative from 16 episodes to 6, yet offering a deeper emotional line. Additionally, they enhanced the convenience of the latest OTT series by improving video and sound quality and providing subtitles.
As part of the ‘New Classic Project’, Wavve plans to simultaneously release upgraded versions of classic dramas such as “Winter Sonata”, “Boys Over Flowers”, and “Sassy Girl Chunhyang” in 4K quality, alongside “I’m Sorry, I Love You 2024”.
