K-pop group SEVENTEEN has announced a major comeback with their new 12th mini album, ‘Spill the Feels.’ The album has already reached 3.5 million pre-orders ahead of its release, increasing the likelihood of SEVENTEEN once again being recognized as a ’10 million artist’ this year. Having already sold over 5.32 million albums in the first half of the year, SEVENTEEN has proven their immense popularity, and this comeback is expected to further expand that record.
The standout track from the album is the title song ‘Spill the Feels.’ The track carries a message of honestly expressing one’s emotions and is crafted by rearranging the alphabets of ‘I Felt Helpless.’ It conveys a positive message that by trusting and sharing emotions with others, one can overcome difficult moments and move towards a hopeful future.
Since their debut, SEVENTEEN has been creating deep connections with the youth by narrating their stories through music. This album also contains relatable stories, and Pledis Entertainment emphasized, “SEVENTEEN’s positive message blends with trendy music to showcase the most SEVENTEEN-like charm.”
In the title track ‘Love, Money, Fame (feat. DJ Khaled),’ SEVENTEEN’s firm determination about love is evident. The album also includes tracks like ‘Eyes on You,’ ‘1 to 13,’ and new songs from each unit, offering a diverse musical appeal. S.Coups stated, “Through this album, we hope to share our emotions honestly and move towards a bright future with the healthy mindset gained in the process.”
For this promotion, 11 members will perform on stage as Jeonghan, who is serving as a social service agent, and Jun, who is engaged in acting activities in China, are absent. Fans can look forward to precious encounters with SEVENTEEN, heightening the anticipation for their upcoming activities.
