SEVENTEEN Releases Their Record Breaking Album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN”

SEVENTEEN just dropped their 11th mini album, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN.” Fans couldn’t wait for this release, and it’s made history by becoming the most pre-ordered K-Pop album, with over 5.2 million copies ordered before it even hit the shelves.

The album’s name, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN,” is a playful take on the phrase “Seventh Heaven,” which means being extremely happy. The album is a joyful celebration of the band’s journey so far. They launched it alongside a music video for the lead single, ‘God of Music’, a cheerful soul funk track with a blend of synths and brass.

The video was shot in Budapest and tells a story of a world without music until SEVENTEEN arrives, bringing back the joy of music that was lost. Starting from different places, each member finds their way to one another for a big festival finale.

Aside from the lead single, the mini album has eight tracks, including ‘Back 2 Back’ (Performance Unit), ‘Monster’ (Hip-hop Unit), and ‘Yawn’ (Vocal Unit). There are also two special tracks for their fans, ‘Diamond Days’ and ‘Headliner’. Plus, there’s an all-English track called ‘SOS (Prod. Marshmello)’ that highlights courage and togetherness.

According to PLEDIS Entertainment, the mini album had a whopping 5,206,718 copies in pre-orders as of October 23, breaking not only their previous record but also the records of other K-pop acts. SEVENTEEN now boasts both the best-selling K-pop album with “FML” and the most pre-ordered album with “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN.”
