SEVENTEEN Breaks Records With 11 Million Album Sales In The First 9 Months Of 2023

SEVENTEEN surpasses the remarkable milestone of 11 million album copies sold during the first 9 months of 2023. This impressive achievement comes right before their highly anticipated 11th mini album release.

According to data from Circle Chart, SEVENTEEN’s album sales from January 1 to September 30 have reached an astounding 11,043,265 copies. Much of this success can be attributed to their 10th mini album, “FML,” released in April, which made history by amassing over 6.2 million sales as of July, making it the best-selling album in K-Pop history. Additionally, their 4th album, “Face the Sun,” released in April 2022, contributed with an additional 950,000 copies sold this year.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that it took SEVENTEEN 6 and a half years to surpass the 10 million mark in album sales since their debut, achieving this milestone in November 2021. Now, celebrating their 8th debut anniversary, the group has demonstrated their unstoppable upward trajectory, achieving the same feat in just 9 months.

SEVENTEEN’s 11th mini album, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN,” is set to be released on October 23, and it’s expected to further boost their remarkable sales figures. With the album’s title, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN,” alluding to a state of extreme happiness, the group will celebrate their journey thus far and paint a joyous picture of even more success to come.

In addition to this incredible milestone, SEVENTEEN won the Daesang Award and the Artist of the Year Award at the “2023 The Fact Music Awards” yesterday, October 10. Also, SEVENTEEN has received multiple nominations for the “2023 MTV Europe Music Awards.” Nominated for “Best Group” and “Best K-pop” for the second consecutive year, SEVENTEEN is set to make a strong presence at the awards show after becoming the first K-Pop act to take home “Best New” and “Best Push” in 2022.
