Red Velvet member YeRi is making her return with the popular drama ‘Cheongdam International High School Season 2’. On November 14, SM Entertainment announced that YeRi would be reprising her role as Baek JeNa. This drama is a high-teen psychological thriller focused on power games within a prestigious school envied by all.
In Season 1, YeRi received praise for vividly portraying the glamorous and bold charm of Baek JeNa, the queen of ‘Diamond 6’, as well as her inner wounds. In this Season 2, viewers can expect to see Baek JeNa’s story of growth as she strives to protect what she has amidst increasingly complex relationships.
YeRi was recognized for her outstanding acting in ‘Cheongdam International High School Season 1’, winning the 2023 Brand of the Year Award for Idol Actor of the Year and the AFA Star Awards for Best Actress in a Web Drama. Additionally, she made her screen debut through the film ‘Next’, continuing her active acting career.
‘Cheongdam International High School Season 2’ will bring together director Im DaeWoong, known for his thriller direction, and writer Kwak YoungIm of the mystery thriller novel ‘Welcome to Royal Town’. Filming is set to begin next month, and fans are eagerly anticipating YeRi’s new challenge.
