Milky Day has announced that he had signed with Unbound Entertainment Group. This news comes after several years of developing a robust portfolio of single releases and EPs, starting in 2019. With this new partnership, Milky Day is poised to take his career to the next level and achieve even greater success in the music industry.
Milky Day is a singer-songwriter and producer originally from Korea and New Zealand, currently based in Sydney, Australia. He began his musical journey with classical piano lessons at age 8, and started producing music in middle school. His college years at Amherst College in the United States were a period of massive growth, during which he released music on Soundcloud and developed his musical style.
The artist’s music ranges from indie to R&B, with mellow and chill tracks that embody the rise of Gen-Z bedroom pop genres. He started with lo-fi, moved towards indie, and has settled into R&B in recent years. He has collaborated with various artists, including frad, Hayne, and Elijah Lee, and some of his most popular tracks include ‘You’ll Be Alright’ and ‘Take it Slow’, with over 47 million combined plays on Spotify alone.

In 2022, he also worked with indie R&B artist Jimmy Brown on a couple of tracks, and appeared on one of Jimmy Brownโs tracks, ‘A Favor’. He also has a successful collaboration with Gareth.T, an artist under Warner Music, with their track ‘Youuu’ having 5 million plays on Spotify. Moving forward, Milky is interested in exploring more electronic elements while remaining in the R&B sphere.
