In November 2021, Paldo launched the ‘Teumsae Bibimmyun,’ a collaboration between ‘Paldo Bibimmyun’ and the famous spicy ‘Teumsae Ramyun.’ Marketed as “The meeting of spicy pride and bibim pride!” this product promises an upgraded version of the sweet and spicy Paldo Bibimmyun with the added intensity of Teumsae Ramyun.

I recall enjoying this spicy bibim noodle when it first came out. Although it seemed to have been discontinued, its re-release has brought back many fond memories. Let’s see if it still holds up.

Tasting and Rating

Upon tasting, the noodles were deliciously spicy and savory with an excellent umami balance. The tangy sweetness of Paldo Bibimmyun combined with the intense spiciness of Teumsae Ramyun created a memorable flavor experience. It is similar to Shin Ramyun Bokkeummyun but spicier. If you love spicy noodles, this is a must-try, although those who can’t handle heat should approach with caution.
