Ahn JaYoung is a third-year police officer full of enthusiasm, working in Heedong-ri. But she lives no ordinary life. She is constantly juggling civilian complaints. She is so busy she doesn’t even have time to date however, she doesn’t mind this as she likes living in her small village with all of her friends.
Choo YoungWoo as Han JiYul
Han JiYul is a new face in Heedong-ri. He came to the village by accident after he received a call from his grandfather who runs a veterinarian clinic. He adores animals, perhaps more than humans. He wanted to rest in Heedong-ri and head back to Seoul, however, things did not go as planned.
He meets Ahn JaYoung who is constantly getting in his way. He has a warm charm and loves animals, but is a bit picky about people. This changes when he started to pay attention to JaYoung, who constantly crosses the line.

Baek SungChul as Lee SangHyun
Lee SangHyun, who runs a peach farm in Heedong-ri, is a warm-looking young farmer who is a strong candidate for the next village head. He is also gaining attention on social media as the “Young and Handsome” peach farmer and is the pride of Heedong-ri.
He is also friends with Ahn JaYoung and secretly has a crush on her. However, the Seoulite JiYul is getting on his nerves as he gets closer to JaYoung.
