In the letter, NewJeans demanded, “Rectify all major breaches of the exclusive contract within 14 days from the date this letter is received.” They specifically mentioned a phrase found in an internal document from HYBE, stating, “Just abandon New (referring to NewJeans) and start fresh,” urging ADOR to take necessary actions as their managing company. This was reportedly part of a music industry report from HYBE revealed during a recent parliamentary inspection.
While the specific rectification demands have not yet been disclosed, NewJeans’ firm stance is evident. However, ADOR stated in an interview with Xports News, “We have not yet received the certification of contents. There is nothing we can respond to regarding a certification of contents that has not arrived.”
