"More Than Friends" Makes Reference To Hit Drama "Goblin"

Be aware of spoilers of episode 11 of "More Than Friends".

"Goblin" (also known as "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God") is a hit drama starring Gong Yoo and Kim GoEun. Since its release in 2016-2017, there are many times the drama was referred to and particularly a few scenes that are iconic.

One of them is Gong Yoo offering flowers to Kim GoEun by the sea.

The ongoing drama "More Than Friends" starring Ong SeongWu and Shin YeEun made a cute reference to this scene. The two actors were standing at a similar spot to the one of "Goblin" and the flower bouquet that Ong SeongWu offered was also similar to the one of "Goblin" (little white flowers).

Shin YeEun at the sight of the flower asked "Do you think you are (a) "Goblin"?" and he answered "Kind of" and went on with the popular lines of Goblin: "Because the weather was good, because the weather was bad, because the weather was good enough, all the time with you was good".

Fans of "Goblin" could only like the reference to the drama.
