“KCON Japan 2023” Achieved Record-Breaking Attendance In “KCON” History

CJ ENM successfully concluded “KCON Japan 2023.” The K-Culture was festival held at Makuhari Messe. Spanning three days from May 12 to 14, fans relished the chance to connect with their beloved K-Pop acts and indulge in the richness of K-Culture through an expansive array of convention programming.

Boasting an impressive turnout of approximately 123,000 attendees, “KCON Japan 2023” achieved the highest offline attendance in the festival’s 11-year history, solidifying its position as an authentic celebration of all things K-Culture.

The three-day K-Pop extravaganza featured an impressive lineup of renowned artists, including ZEROBASEONE. This 9-member group, formed through the global audition program “Boys Planet,”‘ met their fans for the first time as a united front on the stage of “KCON Japan 2023,” captivating the audience with their performances of ‘Say My Name’ and ‘Here I Am’. ZEROBASEONE is poised to make their official debut soon.

“KCON Japan 2023” expanded the scale of its convention, providing an enhanced experience encompassing K-Food, beauty, and fashion. Fans were treated to exclusive MEET & GREET sessions with their favorite artists, a taste of Japan’s renowned fashion festival TOKYO GIRLS’ COLLECTION, and an immersive convention featuring 259 booths and 169 captivating programs that brought K-Culture to life.

Looking ahead, “KCON” will continue its festivities in Los Angeles on August 18, 19, and 20.
