Great news for fans of Kang Daniel as it was reported on July 23 that he had received more than 450,000 pre-orders for his upcoming solo debut album “color on me”.
KONNECT Entertainment shared that since the start of pre-order for “color on me” on July 16, they have received more than 450,000 pre-orders for the album. To that, they commented that it is exceptionally rare for something for a debut album to receive such a large amount of pre-orders.
Kang Daniel was reported to have participated actively in the making of his album as he wished to find his own colors and style. In addition to how his fans have been waiting for him for a long time, he wanted to repay them sincerely.

The solo album consists a total of 5 songs with ‘What are you up to’ being the title track. Kang Daniel has also partnered up with producing team ‘Divine Channel’ as well as choreographer Antoine who had previously worked with Prince, Chris Brown and Kehlani.
Fans are extremely excited for his solo debut and cannot wait for July 25 as the album will be released then.
Kang Daniel will also be embarking on his fanmeeting tour starting in August.
