Musical actor and crossover musician Kai has achieved significant success in Japan, capturing the hearts of global fans. On the 2nd, Kai successfully wrapped up his world tour recital “KAI INTO THE WORLD” held in Tokyo.
This Japan performance was part of a world tour that began in May, during which Kai shared musical connections with audiences at various venues, including Carnegie Hall in the U.S., The Broad Stage in LA, Chongqing Foreign Affairs University Concert Hall in China, and the Recital Hall of the Seoul Arts Center in Korea. This tour gained further attention as the first world tour recital by a Korean musical actor.
The Japan performance at Tokyo Toppan Hall sold out all seats as soon as ticket sales began, reaffirming Kai’s global popularity. The concert lasted about 90 minutes, during which Kai passionately performed a total of 16 songs, leaving a deep impression on Japanese fans. The first part of the concert featured famous musical numbers, while the second part showcased Korean original musical songs, receiving great responses from the audience.
After the performance, Kai shared, “Preparing for the performance in Japan was a very happy time, and I hope my songs were a happy time for the audience as well.” Through this tour, he plans to continue connecting musically with fans worldwide until the first half of 2025. On November 16th, he is set to continue his diverse activities as a crossover musician with a solo concert “KAI IN FOUR” at Lotte Concert Hall.
