In the blink of an eye, the weekend is over and we've reached the the start of another work week. It can be the start that's always the most difficult due to the Monday blues. The Mondays blues is a real phenomenon that affects everyone at least once in their life โ and no amount of sleep or caffeine is enough to fully cure it. But through K-Variety Round Up, we hope to provide the perfect serotonin boost needed to combat the start of the week!
Through this series, we focus on small happenings from various Korean variety shows that you might have missed over the past week/weekend. These clips might appear across social media feeds, but it can be difficult to watch absolutely everything, on top of tending to our busy schedules.
Thatโs why Kpopmap is here to bring you the most entertaining clips to a screen near you! Now, take a look down below for a little energy boost on the first day of the week.
1. GOT7 Bambam Being A Successful Fanboy
We all dream of the day that we come face to face with our favorite K-Pop idols. The immediate joy and amazement of being in front of them is unimaginable and seems like a far off dream. But for some fans, their dream becomes reality โ and multiple times at that.
It's no secret that Bambam is a huge fan of Girls' Generation's TaeYeon. He's admitted to the fact multiple times and has previously had a live fan interaction with her while MCing an event in Thailand. But he was able to have another successful fanboy story on tvN's "Amazing Saturday". The way Bambam is unable to make eye contact and completely blushes in front of his favorite idol is so relatable and unbelievably cute. Their interaction provides the perfect energy boost for this dreary Monday.
2. MONSTA X JooHoney's Aegyo Explosion

Rappers are extremely charismatic, dripping from head to toe with swag and confidence. The terms cute or adorable are rarely associated with your typical rapper, but MONSTA X's JooHoney proves to be one of the exceptions.
He's able to switch from normal conversation to his famous aegyo seamlessly and without a second thought. But he's not done after simply one act of cuteness. He's able to become an explosion of aegyo that's as refreshing as a sip of cool cider. Watching him just once will have you smiling from ear to ear.
3. Choi WooShik Being The Perfect Hypeman
On Ep 6 JINNY'S KITCHEN, CHOI WOO-SIK was seen engaged in aggressive PR activities to promote the restaurant.
After making known that he is an actor frm PARASITE movie, he also bragged about PARK SEO-JOON being the MARVEL guy & #V as BTS member. The customers were impressed with https://t.co/xgUFf6SlsY pic.twitter.com/UCxoJbMAJY

Choi WooShik has consistently shown how good of an actor he is through his various roles. With his accomplishments, he's certainly accumulated bragging rights that could last forever. But he still remains humble and instead, cutely hypes up his two close friends.
On tvN's "Jinny's Kitchen", WooShik is a complete bro, bragging about his friends to customers in the restaurant. He refers to Park SeoJun as the "Marvel guy" and BTS' V as, well, a member of BTS. He does it so nonchalantly, as if it's second nature. It's wholesome, sweet, and a complete joy to watch. We all need a friend like Choi WooShik in our lives.
4. LEEJUNG Being A Dancing Genius

Previously, the girls of "HyeMiLeeYeChaePa" were having immense trouble with the choreography challenge. Luckily, they have a choreographer like YGX's LEEJUNG as their dancing ace.
While she was just as confused as the rest of her castmates at the start, LEEJUNG quickly showed why she's lauded as a top tier choreographer. On top of her skills, her expressive reactions are priceless and cute, making it seem like she's come right out of a manhwa. LEEJUNG is a variety show natural and so entertaining to watch.
5. BTS' JiMin Bringing Unexpected Chaos

BTS are known to bring joy, stage presence, and confidence wherever they go. But on KBS' "Hong Kim DongJeon" BTS' JiMin brought a little chaos to the set by just being himself.
Depending on his actions, the cast members of "Hong Kim DongJeon" were either thrown into a pool or had a bucket of water dumped onto their head. Their earnest conversations with the world-renowned idol was interrupted multiple times, inciting moments of sidesplitting laughter. It might not be a short clip, but you'll easily find yourself watching until the very end.
We hope with this edition of K-Variety Round Up, your Monday blues will be cured in no time! Fighting!
