In a spectacular display of talent and popularity, the K-pop sensation IVE, consisting of members Ahn YuJin, GaEul, Rei, Jang WonYoung, Liz, and LeeSeo, clinched three prestigious awards at the 2024 MAMA held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka on November 22nd. The group was honored with the ‘CJ Global Performance’, ‘Fans’ Choice of the Year’, and ‘Favorite Global Performer Female’ awards, marking their dominance in the K-pop industry.
The anticipation for IVE’s triumph was palpable, given their remarkable journey throughout the year. The group embarked on a world tour, captivating audiences across Asia, North America, Europe, and South America. With performances in 28 cities across 19 countries, they drew a staggering crowd of over 420,000. Their grand finale in September at Tokyo Dome was a testament to their global appeal. During the tour, IVE also graced international stages at events like ‘Lollapalooza Chicago’ and ‘Summer Sonic 2024′, further solidifying their international presence.
Demonstrating exceptional growth and success, IVE received the ‘Favorite Global Performer Female’ award, celebrating their direct engagement with fans and significant achievements over the year.
