Jung Nyeon is centered around the story of Yoon JungNyeon (Kim TaeRi), a ‘born vocal genius’ aspiring to become the best gukgeuk actor in South Korea after the Korean War in the 1950s. Since its first broadcast on October 12th, it has captured the hearts of viewers, consistently ranking first in popularity every week.
Lead actress Kim TaeRi also secured the top spot in the drama cast popularity ranking for four consecutive weeks, leading the Jung Nyeon syndrome. She maintained the first position steadily after initially ranking second in the first week of the broadcast, gaining viewers’ love. Additionally, lead actresses Jung EunChae and Shin YeEun secured second and third places, respectively, supporting the drama’s popularity.
