The K-pop group ILLIT has demonstrated their global popularity by entering major Billboard charts in the US with their new song “Cherish (My Love).”
On the latest Billboard charts released on November 5th (US local time), ILLIT’s mini-album “IโLL LIKE YOU” and its title track “Cherish” debuted at 57th on the ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ chart and 110th on the ‘Global 200’ chart. This marks continued success for ILLIT following their previous album’s title track “Magnetic,” which achieved rankings of 94th and 170th on these charts and stayed for 32 consecutive weeks.
With their new song, ILLIT has succeeded in placing title tracks from two albums simultaneously on the ‘Global 200’ and ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ charts, raising high expectations from fans. Both “Cherish” and “Magnetic” are also very popular domestically, with “Cherish” climbing 19 and 17 spots on Melon and Genie weekly charts, respectively. “Magnetic” continues to enjoy steady support, remaining high on the charts even seven months after its release.
ILLIT is actively promoting “Cherish,” a dance-pop genre track that honestly expresses emotions from the heart. The song has been well-received for its addictive melody and performance on music shows. Fans can look forward to more performances and new music from ILLIT in the future.
