You must have heard many stories of how rookie K-Pop idols who live in dorms don’t always have the chance to treat themselves to a delicious homemade meal. The same was the case with K-Pop girl group ICHILLIN’. That is until actor Kang Yul, known for his elite culinary talent, visited the members of ICHILLIN’ to feed them a lovely meal.
This happy day came as a part of the popular show “Fun-Staurant”, where the members of ICHILLIN’ had seen Kang Yul before. The members had hoped that he could prepare a meal for them as well. Of course, Kang Yul obliged and showed up at their dorm with bags full of ingredients to cook up three types of cuisine for the members: Korean, Italian, and Chinese.
During the episode, released on May 17, the members of ICHILLIN’ could not hide their excitement as they watched Kang Yul cook. His skills were out of this world and truly impressed the members as well as the audience. Even his presentation was top tier. He is a master chef after all! In addition, because actor Kang Yul is their labelmate, they were comfortable around him, too.
Before this, ICHILLIN”s refrigerator was filled with diet foods like yogurt, salad, silken tofu, chicken breast, and so on. However, thanks to Kang Yul, the members had a wholesome, filling meal after a long day of work.
After cooking, Kang Yul also left a message of support for the ICHILLIN’ members to enjoy the meal and aim for a music show win. We’re sure both the meal and the message offered great hope, strength and energy to the ICHILLIN’ members.
