"Lovers Of The Red Sky" also called "Hong ChunGi" is a romance fantasy historical drama based on the novel of the same title by Jung EunKweol.
Ahn HyoSeop, Kim YooJung, and Gong Myung are the lead actors of this awaited drama.
Actor Ahn HyoSeop has significantly risen in popularity with the dramas "Still 17 ", "Abyss", and "Dr. Romantic 2". As for Kim YooJung, she is a popular actress who starred in dramas such as "Love in the Moonlight", "Clean With Passion for Now", and "Backstreet Rookie". Both actors already acted in a historical drama. Fans have high expectation for their acting and chemistry.
Gong Myung acted in the dramas "The Bride of Habaek", "Feel Good To Die", and "Be Melodamatic" and Kwak SiYang in "Chicago Typewriter", "Alice", and more.
Director Jang TaeYoo from "Deep Rooted Tree", "My Love From The Star", and "Hyena" is in charge of the project. Kim YooJung would be meeting again with writer Jung EunKweol with who she has also worked on "The Moon that Embraces the Sun".
Previously the Ahn HyoSeop and Kim YooJung were planned to work together on "Clean With Passion for Now" but due to her illness the schedule was postponed and Ahn HyoSeop had to drop the drama due to schedule conflicts. They finally get to act together in this 2021 drama.
