Tips for Fan Writers
ย
1. Think that only some know about all the artists, actors, or dramas. Therefore, always giving basic information is essential.
(Using real names instead of stage names can confuse readers, for example).
2. Having clear grammar and wording is essential. Make shorter sentences, and use enter frequently.
3. Don’t write facts that are unchecked or based on rumors because they are not “facts”.
4. Do not copy-paste sentences or translations without proper credit, including “”, and the source’s name.
5. Take note of sensitive topics (LGBTQIA+, religion, race, skin color, disability, gender issues, cultural appropriation, and more).
Your words could hurt people or be seen as offensive. So make sure to use the appropriate terms and always question yourself.
6. Pictures of good quality and recent times always make your article stand out.
7. Keeping one styling of a name makes your articles relevant. Show you are meticulous and trustworthy.
8. Know which sources can’t be used.
Weverse and UNIVERSE, for example, don’t allow the sharing of their content on other platforms.
9. Be passionate and/or original, and readers will appreciate your articles.
10. Sharing your thoughts on an issue is possible, but you will need deep analysis as it must look relevant to readers.
11. Before submitting, make sure you double checked all the names! Typos can happen, but not in names. Be careful.
