“Hallyu Con” Is Coming Back To London And Is Upgraded Into A Hybrid Event

This coming weekend, on October 1st, “Hallyu Con” will be open again for K-Pop and K-Culture enthusiasts. The event will be made available both in-person and online. This year’s “Hallyu Con” will be taking place at Samsung KX, in the heart of London, at 1PM BST (In-Person). The online streaming will be made available from 4PM to 9PM BST.

This year’s festival will have in-person performances that will showcase both traditional and contemporary Korean music and arts. The attendees will have the opportunity to participate in engaging activities to experience Korean food, drama/film, beauty, sports trends, and more.

To fans’ delight, Korean girl groups H1-KEY and BUSTERS, and dancer-choreographer Trandee Rock will be gracing this year’s event. The audience will be able to witness dance covers of famous K-Pop groups to be performed by local cover groups. DJ Seoul Train will also will be closing the event with a vibrant live perfomance.

For traditional music enthusiasts, gayaguem player Ji EunJung, dancer and choreographer, YeRin Lee, and Daegeum soloist HyeLim Kim will also be taking the stage.

There are tons of activities for those who can come to “Hallyu Con” physically, including booths for Korea-realted goods (K-Pop, K-Beauty, K-Food, etc.), and “Hallyu Con” experiences like the photo booth, and Korean calligraphy (or Seoye) booth. In the Seoye booth, visitors will get to keep a souveneir bookmark with the Korean version of their names artisitcally written.

Continuing to enhance the togetherness spirit, the event will also include opportunities for members of the audience to get involved – by sharing their thoughts and experiences with K-Pop in the UK through BBC’s new podcast, by taking part in the Hallyu Con 2022 Debut Challenge – and be featured on segments and join the live event.
