The final chapter of the collaboration trilogy project of GyuBin, representing the fifth generation of K-Pop female solo artists, is finally unveiled.
GyuBin, under Liveworks Company, concludes her collaboration project with the release of ‘Special’ today (25th), featured by Kim JongWan, the legendary vocalist of the band NELL. This follows her previous collaborations ‘Scribble’ with Wonstein and ‘Start To Shine’ with GAEKO of Dynamic Duo.
‘Special,’ produced by Kim JongWan, the lead vocalist of South Korea’s representative emotional band NELL, features a unique blend of his distinctive sentiment and the clear voice of the 17-year-old girl GyuBin. The song delivers a consoling message that “no matter what anyone says, you are special.”
Starting with a dreamy medium tempo guitar riff that gradually fills with the band’s sound, you can feel the deep emotion of NELL. GyuBin’s clear and delicate vocals, also convey a firmness that powerfully delivers the message of the song.
Additionally, the synths painting a night sky filled with stars and the dramatic string arrangement in the bridge intertwines with the lyrics to offer solace, support, and inspiration to all the youth enduring loneliness while awaiting their moment to soar.
