GOT7 member JinYoung has completed his military service and was discharged with the congratulations of fans and members. On November 7, JinYoung was discharged from active duty in the army after 1 year and 6 months of service. He served in the Army’s 11th Mobile Division from May 8 of last year, drawing much longing from fans.
At the discharge site, JinYoung expressed his gratitude to the fans gathered there, saying, “I regret not being able to show myself often during my military life, but I will repay you with a better appearance.” He also added, “The training with my fellow soldiers was a very enjoyable time, and I want to convey my gratitude and love to them.”
On that day, GOT7 members YuGyeom and Bambam made a surprise visit to celebrate JinYoung’s discharge, bringing more joy to the fans. JinYoung also shared news about GOT7’s new album preparation, receiving great cheers from fans. He said, “I want to quickly prepare the album to repay the fans before other members enlist.”
Additionally, JinYoung is scheduled to communicate with fans through a live broadcast today, sharing stories that he couldn’t before.
JinYoung’s comeback project is the Channel A drama ‘MANYEO,’ based on the webtoon of the same name by writer Kang Full. JinYoung is set to show a new side by taking on the role of the male protagonist, Lee DongJin. As fans’ expectations grow, anticipation for JinYoung’s future activities continues to rise.
