One of the most highly anticipated K-Dramas of 2023 - "Twinkling Watermelon", is finally here, and it is already garnering high praise and attention from fans all over the world. Starring RyeoUn, Choi HyunWook, Seor InA, and Shin EunSoo in the leading roles, "Twinkling Watermelon" tells the story of Ha EunGyeol (RyeoUn), a child of deaf adult (CODA), who has a gift for music but can't openly pursue it, lest it disappoints his parents. One day, he travels back in time through a strange musical instruments store and crash lands into a timeline when his parents were still high school students.
Golden Child's Bong JaeHyun plays EunGyeol's older brother, Ha EunHo in "Twinkling Watermelon". Ha EunHo was born deaf. He is a bright, charming, and spirited young man who stands by his brother at all costs. He is a talented taekwondo athlete, making his parents proud. He is also popular on social media and, from what we've seen so far, has someone he likes too! EunHo is considerate, understanding, has a good sense of humor, and is incredibly fond of EunGyeol. EunHo has a positive outlook on life and lives it to the fullest.
JaeHyun is not only attracting attention for his tall and well-built physique and striking visuals but also for his effortlessly natural acting using sign language that has already endeared Ha EunHo to us. The screen seems to light up whenever he is in a scene, and we cannot wait to see where his character will go next.
JaeHyun has considerable previous experience in acting and continues to impress with each work. He is set to take on the main role of Choi SeKyung in the web-novel-based K-Drama "I, a Gangster, Became a High Schooler" next, raising expectations for his acting career further.
