EXO’s BaekHyun Wins First Place As The Artist Best Suited To Host The ASEA 2025 Awards

EXO member BaekHyun secured the top spot in a fan vote to determine “The Best Fit E-Type Artist To MC ASEA 2025” (in other words, the artist best suited to host/MC the ASEA 2025 awards). He beat BTSโ€™ RM in a highly competitive poll.

From October 18 to 25, fans voted on the PODOAL app, where BaekHyun received an impressive 42,333,000 votes, while RM followed in second place with 33,588,000 votes.

The win is attributed to BaekHyun’s charm, including his energetic stage presence and active engagement with fans. As a result of this victory, BaekHyun will be featured in a support banner for ASEA 2025 on the PODOAL app and will appear in a special feature for @STYLE magazine.

Recently, BaekHyun resumed promotional activities with a photoshoot for the November issue of @STYLE, where his playful yet chic persona delighted fans. His fourth mini-album, “Hello, World”, also demonstrated his continued popularity by selling over 1 million copies within its first week.

The ASEA 2025 fan poll featured 37 contestants, including BTS’ RM, SEVENTEEN’s SeungKwan, Kang Daniel, and BTOB’s Yook SungJae, sparking significant interest. The ASEA 2025 awards ceremony will take place in the first half of 2025, with numerous related votes happening on the PODOAL app through 2024.
