FIFTY FIFTY, the reformed K-Pop group known for their TikTok trending song ‘Cupid’, recently performed at Town Hall in New York City as its last stop on their “Love Sprinkle Tour” in USA. The short eight stop tour entertained TWENY (the group’s fandom name) from coast-to-coast, with the group sprinkling in intimate fansigns and radio appearances around the country.
The group recently reorganized to become a five-member group and redebuted with the mini album “Love Tune”, along with its lead single ‘SOS’. Original member Keena stayed with the group, with newcomers Chanelle, YeWon, HaNa and Athena joining.
Throughout the performance, FIFTY FIFTY blended songs from their most recent release, including singles ‘Starry Night’, ‘SOS’ and ‘Gravity’, with callbacks to older releases, ‘Higher’, ‘Cupid’ and ‘Lovin’ Me’. The group also debuted a pair of holiday songs, ‘Naughty and Nice’ and ‘When You Say My Name’, which were released midtour on the group’s social media pages.
To round out the show, the group covered Taylor Swift’s ‘Cruel Summer’ and the Spice Girls’s ‘Wannabe’. Each member also performed a solo cover with YeWon covering Taylor Swift’s ‘Blank Space’, Chanelle with Cee Lo Green’s ‘Forget You’, Keena with Harry Styles’s ‘Falling’, HaNa with Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘drivers license’ and Athena with Sia’s ‘Unstoppable’. During this time, Chanelle, the Korean American member of the group, hinted that while it’s the group’s first time in New York City, it wouldn’t be the last.
The show concluded with the members tossing out signed items to the crowd, offering faithful TWENYs a precious memory of the show.
After a night of rest, FIFTY FIFTY completed its tour of New York with a special holiday celebration at Sirius XM before flying back to Seoul.
