YG Entertainment's new girl group has been the talk of the K-Pop town for the past few weeks. Many have been awaiting the debut of this global K-Pop group called BABYMONSTER.

BABYMONSTER is a 7-member girl group set to debut in 2023.

The company has introduced them to the public as the baby of YG, carrying the company's genes. They promise to be stars that will shock the world.

You can check out their debut trailer with testaments from YG artists such as WINNER and BLACKPINK members below.

2. Group average age

Ruka is the oldest member of the group at 20 years old and Chiquita is the maknae (youngest member) of the group at 13 years old.

The group is said to be one of the youngest groups in K-Pop. If you add up the ages of all the members and divide that number by 7, the group's average age is around 16 years old.

3. Pre-debut content rollout strategy and achievements

YG Entertainment and its artists have been emphasizing how talented the group is. In order to gain recognition for the group as artists, the company decided to have them evaluated by the public without any prejudice. Hence, they revealed their skills to the public first for a raw authentic feeling as opposed to revealing the members through concept photos and interviews.

As seen above, the members have all released live vocal performances and the group has released a dance performance (which you can see below), too.

K-Pop fans have been impressed with the group's vocals especially, citing them to be the next big thing.

Accordingly, the group is already breaking records before they have even debuted. One example is how they've become the fastest K-Pop group to reach 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.

It's clear that once BABYMONSTER debuts they will be a force to reckon with.
