Conceived and produced between Italy and South Korea, ‘DANCING IN THE RAIN’ is the debut single of the “cassabasso” project, an idea by producer and songwriter Gionata Caracciolo, already known in the K-Pop scene for writing songs for idols such as Red Velvet, SUPER JUNIOR, Jeon SoYeon, (G)I-DLE, and many others. The concept of this project is to blend the sound of 90s Eurodance, which has made a big comeback, with the vibrant peculiarity of K-Pop and the Korean language, creating a unique and distinct fusion that will delight dance enthusiasts and fans of Korean music.
Composed and produced by Gionata Caracciolo and Massimo Bartolucci, known as Corpoceleste, ‘DANCING IN THE RAIN’ falls into the Italo House genre, a subgenre of house music characterized by heavy use of piano sound, originating in Italy around 1990 and quickly spreading worldwide.
In a historical moment where the frenzy of daily life seems to suffocate us, ‘DANCING IN THE RAIN’ presents itself as an antidote, a moment of leisure and fun where one can be carried away by the music and the joy of dancing. With an engaging rhythm and lyrics inviting you to sing at the top of your lungs.
Eunice, former member of the girl group DIA, is the singer of this single, lending her voice and charisma to the track, thus adding a touch of authenticity and contagious energy. Additionally, as a co-lyricist alongside Jessica Oh, Eunice further enriches the song’s artistic depth.
‘DANCING IN THE RAIN’ will be released by the independent labels Gabesco Music and Dedicated Studio, and will be available on all digital platforms starting from Mar. 22.
