CRAVITY Is Back With Their 4th Mini-Album “New Wave” And Title Track ‘PARTY ROCK’

CRAVITY just made their comeback last September 27 with through their newest mini-album “NEW WAVE”. After wrapping up their performances at their first KCON LA and their 6-city U.S. KCON Tour.

CRAVITY’s new theme for this comeback is “Youth”, where they are depicting feelings, emotions, and the real youth that come with freedom. The track ‘PARTY ROCK’ perfectly captures CRAVITY’s youth, emitting endless energy both sonically and visually. The music video also shows the boys enjoying themselves to the fullest as they step into a new space of their own – an image that will definitely be enjoyed by their fans, LUVITY. ‘PARTY ROCK’ and its music video have a storyline connection focused on CRAVITY vibing with the music in a different space where they are to find their new selves. As the boys enjoy their freedom in the new space, the two different versions of themselves coexist, and they get to their discover their new “me”.

CRAVITY’s 4th mini-album “NEW WAVE” consists of 6 tracks. Rappers SeRim and Allen contributed to writing the lyrics of the tracks ‘PARTY ROCK’, ‘New Addiction’, ‘AUTOMATIC’, and ‘Colorful’. The group’s lead vocalist WooBin also participated in the production of the album by writing the lyrics for the track ‘Colorful’. This marks as his first self-produced song on a CRAVITY album. ‘Colorful’ is a moombahton-based dance-pop track which uses the word “color” as a metaphor; it conveys the message that a special someone can make a person’s ordinary and boring life be filled with different colours.

The group’s first ever track in English, ‘Boogie Woogie’ is also included in this album. The track was released last month, ahead of the album’s release. The track was said to have captured the attention of international media Zach Sang ShowRefinery29AudacyVariety, and more.
