ChoCo1&2’s Anpan Has An Adorable Fangirl Moment & Interaction With ENHYPEN At “M COUNTDOWN”

On June 1, 2023, ENHYPEN took home their first “M COUNTDOWN” win for ‘Bite Me’, marking an important day in the history of the group. Also on this day, ChoCo1&2 (Jake & Anpan), the first project unit of the brand new trainee team ChoCo under ChoCo Entertainment, had their first-ever stage performance at “M COUNTDOWN” with the new song ‘Fruity Loops (515 Version)’.

For those who might not know, ChoCo1&2 is made up of three trainees – Jake and TJ of ChoCo1 where Jake is the leader, and Anpan, the leader of ChoCo2. Jake and TJ are Korean, whereas Anpan is Thai.

The song ‘Fruity Loops (515 Version)’ is by the leader unit Jake and Anpan. It is the Korean version of the original English song, also by Jake and Anpan. Both versions were released as parts of their 1st digital album “ChoCo Takes Hollywood (MAX)”.

While Jake is being lauded for his natural stage presence and unexpected charms, Anpan, who is also a famous dance influencer, is being celebrated as a future star. The duo gave a refreshing performance, but the highlight of their day was probably meeting their role models.

Following ENHYPEN’s win and prior to their encore stage, Jake and Anpan had the chance to greet them. As Anpan bowed and cheered for her sunbaes, members HeeSeung, Ni-Ki, and SungHoon seemed to greet her back. Her reaction had us all going “ME” at our screens.
