BLACKPINK member Jisoo has successfully completed filming for the Coupang Play original drama ‘Influenza.’ On July 23, Jisoo posted a message on her social media, “Wrapped up… Thank you everyone for your hard work!” along with a photo.
In the photo, Jisoo is sitting on the trunk of a van, receiving congratulations. Especially noteworthy is the sash around her neck that reads, “Smells like grass on YoungJoo. Beautiful, wonderful,” hinting at the love and support Jisoo received from the staff during the shoot.
Meanwhile, Jisoo’s upcoming project ‘Influenza’ is set against the backdrop of an air defense unit in a high-rise building in Seoul. It depicts the struggle of a soldier, JaeYoon, and his girlfriend YoungJoo, who has been notified of their breakup, as they battle zombies. Many fans are eagerly anticipating what kind of performance Jisoo will deliver in this drama.
Jisoo is also set to rejoin BLACKPINK for their full-fledged team activities. Celebrating their 8th debut anniversary this year, BLACKPINK is planning a fan signing event. YG Entertainment’s executive producer Yang HyunSuk announced on the YG official blog on July 22, “BLACKPINK will embark on a world tour as a ‘complete group’ next year.”
