Balming Tiger Unveils Their First Studio Album “January Never Dies” And Striking Music Video For ‘Moving Forward’

Balming Tiger has introduced their debut album titled “January Never Dies” and shared a new music video for their single, ‘Moving Forward’. The album’s theme revolves around rejecting societal norms and embracing self-belief and unity.

As this is our first studio album released as a team rather than a compilation concept, we put a lot of effort into reflecting the tendencies of each member while also bringing together the big themes, and capturing the moments when cosmic energy is generated when we are together. It seems like a precious work has been born.

To coincide with the album’s release, Balming Tiger has unveiled the music video for the significant track ‘Moving Forward’, directed by Japanese filmmaker Pennacky. The video is a snippet from the upcoming short film “Moving For Word,” featuring members of Balming Tiger. The full film will be released in Korean theaters later this year.

‘Moving Forward’ is the latest addition to their experimental music journey, following previous releases such as ‘Kamehameha’, ‘SOS’, ‘Trust Yourself’, and ‘SEXY NUKIM’, which featured RM of BTS and achieved remarkable success on Billboard’s “World Digital Song Sales” chart, surpassing 10 million views on its music video.

Balming Tiger comprises a diverse ensemble of performers, producers, directors, DJs, visual artists, and writers, each contributing their unique artistic energy to the group’s distinct visual universe.

In the wake of the album launch, Balming Tiger is gearing up to release two more music videos, including one directed by Leesuho, a member of the collective. The album’s striking artwork was crafted by Milan-based illustrator GOODNEWSFORBADGUYS, with JNKYRD overseeing sound production, Norman Nitzsche handling mastering, and the DooRooDooRoo Artist Company as their management partner.

Balming Tiger’s founding member, Omega Sapien, has previously released his solo EP “WUGA” via LuckyMe, featuring collaborations with renowned artists. The group will embark on their “January Never Dies” world tour, with scheduled stops at prominent festivals and events, capping off their global journey at the Maho Rasop Festival in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 2.
