The unique K-pop group ATEEZ is gearing up for another transformation, heightening fans’ anticipation. On November 14, a press conference for the release of ATEEZ’s 11th mini-album, ‘Golden Hour: Part 2,’ was held grandly at the Lotte Hotel World Sapphire Ballroom in Songpa-gu, Seoul. This album, set to be unveiled on November 15 at 2 PM (KST), captures their way of expressing love and includes six tracks that embody new challenges. Particularly, the title track ‘Ice On My Teeth’ promises to showcase a different, hip allure with a restrained vibe, going beyond their previous intense energy.
ATEEZ’s leader HongJoong shared, “It’s been six months since we’ve returned to our fans,” and mentioned that the growth they’ve achieved through their North American tour and participation in various festivals is reflected in this album. He explained, “Experiencing the stages we dreamed of made me realize that they need to properly acknowledge and express their worth,” and that this album is a way to share their value with their fans.
YunHo introduced the title track ‘Ice On My Teeth,’ saying, “It embodies our unique value that shines when we smile, even though it’s not readily apparent on the surface,” raising expectations. Given that their previous work, ‘Golden Hour: Part 1,’ ranked second on the US Billboard 200 chart, there’s significant interest in whether this new release will continue their success in the global market.
While ATEEZ has left a strong impression with intense music so far, they aim to boldly attempt a new style through this ‘Golden Hour’ series. HongJoong expressed their ambitions, saying, “Rather than shedding our existing image, we attempted something new with the confidence that we could do even better,” and added, “We will pioneer ATEEZ’s path and prove our existence in the K-pop scene.”
Fans are eagerly anticipating what surprising changes ATEEZ will showcase next and are closely watching to see what outcomes their new challenges will achieve. They continue to support ATEEZ in expanding the boundaries of K-pop.
