An Introduction To "Alchemy Of Souls" Beloved Crown Prince Shin SeungHo

“Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow” reached its climactic end on January 8, leaving behind a K-Drama for the history books. Tears were shed, enemies defeated, and love blossomed.

While we must say goodbye to the world-renowned hit series, the actors still remain. Whether they take on a similar role or challenge themselves in something completely different, they've already proven their top-notch acting skills.

There was the likes of Lee JaeWook, Jung SoMin, and Go YounJung who killed it as the main leads. Standing beside them were Hwang MinHyun, Oh My Girl’s Arin, and Yoo InSoo who provided phenomenal performances in their respective roles.

But we absolutely cannot forget about Shin SeungHo who stole our hearts as the beloved Crown Prince.

Although at times his character came off as grumpy and pretentious, Shin SeungHo’s performance quickly captivated all of our hearts.

He was born on November 11, 1995 and is currently signed to KingKong by Starship, home to widely popular stars such as Lee DongWook, Kim Beom, and Song SeungHeon.

SeungHo made an appearance on “Game Caterers x Starship”, showing off his loveable off screen charms and fun-filled chemistry with his labelmates.

However, the “Alchemy of Souls” star wasn’t always an actor. He in fact walked down a different path as an athlete for 11 years! Shin SeungHo was a soccer player who endlessly trained in order to remain at his best condition. His love for soccer even led him to pursue a physical education degree at DongEui University.

But one day, he hung up his cleats and decided it was time to embark on a new path. He turned to the entertainment industry and started off with a modeling career. Shin SeungHo participated in SBS’ Supermodel Contest in 2016 and ended up walking the runway of Seoul Fashion Week in 2017.

Although he had such a great start in modeling, SeungHo stated in an interview why he switched over to acting. SeungHo was told that his body, image, and voice would “be much more suitable to pursue a career as an actor”.

Hearing this, he delved into the world of acting and landed his very first role in web drama, “A-Teen”. Due to his rising popularity and success from the widely loved series, SeungHo was able to make his TV drama debut in “At Eighteen” as Ma HwiYoung.

On top of his success as a model and an actor, he has quite an attractive singing voice. SeungHo ended up participating in the OST for his first movie, “Double Patty”. Listen to his swoon-worthy vocals down below!

It’s been revealed that he is much like Crown Prince Go Won, minus the crankiness. He is mischievous and a prankster, providing joy and laughter to his castmates. His hobbies include watching movies, meeting up with friends, and exercise.
