The drama adaptation of the popular teen webtoon "Love Revolution" (in Korean "์ฐ์ ํ๋ช ") by Lee YongKa is making the news with actors being cast. It is one more drama to be adapted from webtoon this year (check the dramas based on webtoon confirmed and announced for 2020).
is considering the lead role and THE BOYZ's YoungHoon was reported chosen for the sub-male character. UPDATE: Cre.ker Entertainment stated that he was considering the role and that is was not confirmed.
Many have been interested in the news as MAY has been waiting for Park JiHoon's next drama since "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency". The B is also looking forward to YoungHoon's acting debut. Moreover, the webtoon fans have been curious about who will be cast.
"Love Revolution" tells the love story of the couple Gong JuYoung and Wang JaRim while depicting realistically the teen's lives with their love, friendship, study, and dream.
Park JiHoon was offered the role of Gong JuYoung. The high school student is the cutest boy in the world and he sincerely loves Wang JaRim. According to the webtoon, he is a 17-year-old boy. He has a lot of aegyos, likes to express his love, and likes to do surprise events.
The lead actress is yet to be revealed. She will act as Wang JaRim. According to the webtoon, she is a pretty high school girl who is looking cold. She is tsundere who hates surprise events.
THE BOYZ's YoungHoon was reported to be chosen as the role of Lee KyungWoo. He is Gong JuYoung's friend and is the sub-male character. According to the webtoon, they fight a lot and he is a bit of a gangster (he smokes, rides motorbikes, etc). He also likes to joke around.
