Among all the events happening at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), the Asia Contents Awards (ACA) & Global OTT Awards (G.OTT) 2024 is set to be held on Sunday, October 6th at the BIFF Theater in the Busan Cinema Center at 18:00 KST. Celebrating the 6th edition of the awards, the ACA & G.OTT looks to recognize some of the biggest names in OTT of the year. It’s a highly anticipated event among Hallyu fans across the globe.
The event features a wide variety of competitive categories from Best Creative, Best OTT Original, to Best Lead Actor (Male/Female), and so much more. Then there’s also an invitation category that honors and awards individuals in categories like Creative Beyond Border, New Technology, Rising Star of the Year, and People’s Choice Award. Many are patiently waiting for October to come in order to see the final winners crowned. However, there are many eyes locked onto the People’s Choice Award.
Just as the name implies, it looks to award the stars that have captivated audiences, earning all sorts of praise from not just critics, but also from viewers watching at home. For this particular category, organizers provide the public with the opportunity to vote for their favorite actor and choose the winner. The nominees for the People’s Choice in both the men’s and women’s category is a list of accomplished individuals who have risen past every expectation and were recognized by both critics and the viewers at home. How to vote
Voting will be carried out through Kinolights, a must-go-to platform for film and drama lovers everywhere. At the end, the male and female actor who receives the most votes during the period will be awarded the People’s Choice Award. Once you download the APP, you will be able to vote once per day, for a total of 14 times. When accessing the voting site on the WEB, you’ll be able to make one vote in total. Winners Announcement
Winners will be announced at the ACA & G.OTT Awards live on October 6, 2024. The event will run from 18:00~21:00 KST where they will be announced live and fans everywhere can celebrate these actors’ accomplishments. So mark your calendars and don’t forget to vote for your favorite star!
