Spotify – the world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service, wrapped up 2024 with a spectacular year-end event, Spotify House Seoul, held on December 13 at SPACE-S50 in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
Spotify House arrived in Korea for the first time, offering attendees an opportunity to explore and immerse themselves in Spotify’s unique brand and innovative audio features while celebrating the music moments that defined 2024.
A ‘House’ full of unique experiences, the event embraced the concept of a house, with each room delivering immersive activities that reflected Spotify’s features and creativity:
● Wrapped Entertainment Room: The first stop greeted attendees with a Wrapped Leaderboard and Post-it Wall where visitors could share their Spotify Wrapped 2024 results. It also included a playlist exhibition highlighting standout genres in Korean music throughout the year.
● Bedroom – Silent Listening Party: On the second floor, attendees enjoyed an immersive audio experience with DJ-curated tracks paired with dynamic visual effects.
● Closet: A collaboration between Spotify’s global Korean hip-hop playlist, ‘KrOWN’, and the iconic streetwear brand BAPE (A Bathing Ape) saw attendees get the chance take home exclusive limited-edition Spotify X BAPE T-shirts.
Additional attractions included an outdoor Garden featuring photo booths inspired by Spotify’s flagship K-Pop playlist, ‘K-Pop ON!’, offering perfect backdrops for Instagram-worthy moments. The Kitchen served bespoke cocktails and playlists tailored to listeners’ preferred moods, aligning with Spotify’s ‘Mood Mix’ concept.
