Actor Kim NamGil is preparing a special donation event as he returns with ‘The Fiery Priest 2’. On December 7th and 8th, the ‘2024 SMG Show – Greatest Show in the Universe’ will be held at Kyung Hee University’s Peace Hall in Seoul. This event is a new type of signature donation show, where donations are made simply by enjoying the performance.
‘SMG Show’ stands for ‘Super Mega Greatest Show in the Universe’, and it involves Kim NamGil and his close actor friends who participate through talent donation. They are set to deliver laughter and inspiration to the audience with diverse performances and attractions. Kim NamGil expressed, “I’m glad to share precious time with you as we welcome the year-end and New Year,” and announced, “The 100 million won raised this year will be used for children and adolescents in crisis.” He also urged for much participation and interest.
Kim NamGil’s first donation show was held in 2019, and the proceeds raised at the time were used to support public art campaigns. This donation show included several celebrities such as Park SungWoong, Uhm JungHwa, and Joo JiHoon. In 2022, a second donation show was held, with the performance proceeds contributing to the spread of animal rights awareness and the protection of abused animals.
